As the founder of a boutique, independent agency, trade bodies such as the Alliance of Independent Agencies<\/a> are an amazing resource to have. They\u2019re so incredibly supportive to their member agencies and provide an insane number of services, ideal for smaller agencies.<\/p>\n

This is why I\u2019m so excited to announce that I am now a Co-Chair of The Alliance of Independent Agencies and sit in the People Chair spot<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m so passionate about making Complex Creative<\/a> a super positive place for people to work and I really try to take care of my staff. That\u2019s why it feels incredible to be recognised for my efforts and be asked to be the People Chair at this incredible organisation.<\/p>\n

As part of my role, I will be liaising with other members to find out what their pain points are when it comes to people, and what I can do to help.<\/p>\n

I will be looking after matters such as how agencies can attract and retain the best talent, diversity and inclusion and company wellbeing.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s next at The Alliance of Independent Agencies?<\/h2>\n

One of the many things I love about The Alliance is that they have so many events on all the time! And it\u2019s not just for the C-Suite like many organisations are. Their events cover the whole team.<\/p>\n

They have two incredible events coming up that I\u2019m super excited about. One is the Festival of Happiness<\/a>, which will be held at Google and is a whole day focused around wellbeing and happiness.<\/p>\n

The other is the UK Independent Agencies\u2019 Conference 2022<\/a>. This is a joint event with three of the most awesome agency networks in the industry \u2013 The Alliance, Pimento and Agencynomics.<\/p>\n

I will be attending this conference and hoping to meet as many members there as possible. If you\u2019re planning on going, please give me a shout!<\/p>\n
